Key Tax Dates for 2023

If you haven't already, it's time to add some entries to your calendar so you don't miss any vital tax dates.

30th January

  • GST due for the period ending 31 December

  • AIM installments due if you file GST monthly and have a March balance date

7th February

  • Terminal Tax

  • End-of-year income tax and Working for Families bills are due, unless your tax agent has an extension of time to file your income tax return

  • Your FBT income year return and payment are due if you have a March balance date and no extension of time

20th February

  • PAYE Due

28th February

  • GST due for the period ending 31 January

  • AIM installments are due if you have a March balance date

20th March

  • PAYE Due

28th March

  • GST due for the period ending 28 February

  • AIM installments are due if you file GST monthly and have a March balance date

31st March

  • Final day to file tax returns for taxpayers with a tax agent

7th April

  • End-of-year income tax and Working for Families bills are due if you have an extension of time to file your income tax return

  • Terminal Tax For taxpayers (with a tax agent) with balance dates between 1 March and 30 September

20th April

  • PAYE Due

8th May
