Due to unforeseen circumstances, our previous Practice Manager has had to step away for personal reasons. My Two Cents Accounting, a female-led firm with a team of 10 talented ladies, is now on the hunt for a Practice Manager, Tax and Business Advisory Specialist, to join our dynamic team.
This role offers the flexibility to work from home on a full-time basis as an employee earning $94k-104k annually with family-friendly hours.

Role Overview:
As our Practice Manager – Tax & Business Advisory, you will:
Manage our End-of-Year process, oversee workflows, and allocate tasks.
Supervise workpapers, job budgets, and filing targets.
Oversee dividend workflows, tax letters, and financial report packs.
Provide tax and business advisory services to clients and staff.
Lead training initiatives and support team development and KPI management.
Manage a client portfolio and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
Your organisational prowess, strong communication skills and software expertise will be essential in liaising with our team of accountants and bookkeepers to create efficient processes and successful practice management.

Key Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a tax accountant
Membership with ATAINZ, CAANZ, or CPA
Exceptional organisational and planning skills
Excellent business advisory skills and experience working with clients in a business development space
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager, Xero Workpapers, and FYI Docs.
Experience with Prosaic, Ignition, and Dashboard Insights is a bonus.
Excellent knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft programs.
Location and Flexibility:
While our base is in Mangawhai, Northland, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely. As long as you're highly communicative and committed to staying connected with the team, remote work arrangements are welcomed.
